Our purpose is to identify and engage leaders, give these leaders tools to affect community growth,

and assist in starting and building the capacity to impact families, neighbourhoods, and communi-

ties. Our vision is to have peaceful, environmentally sustainable, socially just, economically viable,

and health focused families, neighbourhoods and communities at home and abroad.

Our mission is to build the capacity of leaders while impacting communities through philanthropy and

social ventures. DSLC builds leaders and organizations through one on one interaction, group

training, and community transformation projects.

We have an urgent situation that needs your attention and support. Our beloved 76-year-old founder, a widow, has recently found herself without a home. She has received a kind offer to move from Tennessee to North Carolina, but there are many challenges to overcome in order to make this move happen smoothly. She needs help with packing and transportation, as well as funds to pay for essential services like a house cleaner, and building a fence for her two dogs.
